What is Showasis?
Showasis is the pulse of live music. We use quantitative crowd-sourced reviews coupled with social media chatter to help chart and trend who's hot and who's not on the live music scene. Meanwhile we help fans build out their live music profile, prepare for upcoming events, and make informed decisions about which shows they should and should not attend.
Now that I'm here, what am I supposed to do?
Our mission is to enable you to shape your own live music experiences. You can do this by reviewing bands, shows, and venues while interacting with other fans around the world to exchange tips, reviews, and insights like what to wear to a concert and when to arrive. Start by finding shows you've attended in the past; review them and build out your live music profile.
How do I add a show to Showasis that isn't listed already?
Every day we are adding hundreds of concerts to our database. If you still can't find a show you're looking for after checking the band's table of shows, we have a form you can use to manually add the missing concert. You can find that form here.
How do I mark my attendance at a concert?
Before you mark your attendance at a concert, you must be a registered user and logged in to your account. Once logged in, navigate to the show you want to mark attendance for. The show page will feature a profile photo of the headlining band with two icons in the bottom left corner. Click the fist icon to mark your attendance or the heart icon to add the show to your favorites. Once you've marked your attendance at a concert, you can then review it.
How do I add a specific concert to my list of favorites?
Before you add a favorite show, you must be a registered user and logged in to your account. Once logged in, navigate to the show you want to favorite. The show page will feature a profile photo of the headlining band with two icons in the bottom left corner. Click the heart icon to favorite the show.
How do I remove my attendance from a concert?
Navigate to the show page where you marked your attendance. The show page will feature a profile photo of the headlining band with two icons in the bottom left corner. Click the fist icon to remove your attendance. When you roll your mouse over the fist icon, you will see the text 'Remove' next to the icon.
How do I review a concert?
Before you review a concert, you must be a registered user and logged in to your account. Navigate to the show page that you want to review and proceed through the following steps. Mark your attendance at the event - you can't review the show until you have marked your attendance. Use the review form below the profile photo to submit your ratings. Select the band you are reviewing using the dropdown menu at the top of the review form. Sometimes multiple bands are listed for one event, so make sure you are reviewing the right band. Click the star graphics to record your scores for each item. Once finished reviewing, click the green 'Save' button. Your scores have successfully been recorded.
What do the concert review criteria mean?
Setlist - Did you enjoy the selection of songs played? Band's Energy - Did the band have good energy and show a lot of effort in their performance? Crowd - Did the crowd around you act appropriately for the event, and did they enhance or subtract from your experience? Stage Lights - Did the stage lights and props contribute positively or negatively to the overall experience? Live Vocals - Did the band sound good live? Ticket Value - Was the show at least worth the price of admission? Band's Attire - Was the band's attire (clothing/outfits) interesting and/or unique? Encore - Was there an encore, and did it add to the overall experience? Originality - Was this the same as any other show, or was it unique? On-stage Banter - Did the band's on-stage banter positively or negatively affect your experience? Post-Show Interaction - Did the band stick around for autographs and photos with fans after the show? Opening Act Integration - Did the band invite the opening act to play for a few songs with them, or did they at least reference and credit the opening act?
How do I add a band to Showasis that isn't listed already?

The band search function isn't working. What's wrong?
When you use the band search at the top right of your screen, you don't need to hit enter or return after you type in your search. Simply type in the band name you are looking for and your results will automatically populate for you. Once you see the band you are looking for in the live search results, click that item and you will be taken to the band page.
How do I add a venue to Showasis that isn't listed already?
